So the Stanley Cup finals have finally arrived.... And though you might think because I was born & bred in the Los Angeles area that Id be rooting for the Kings. But, just like my friend Bruce Forrest, Ill likely be hoping that the NY Rangers end up lifting the Cup. Not because I have any rooted feelings for New York or the Rangers but because I am, in reality, a die hard Tampa Bay Lightning fan and nobody, I repeat NOBODY in the NHL deserves to be a Stanley Cup Champion (again) more than our dearly departed Marty St.Louis. A lot of people have been trying to rationalize him leaving Tampa as a good thing (Hello Jeff Little, Im lookin at you! O.o ) but its clear that Rangers are the ones who made out like bandits in the long run and that the ownership of the Lightening screwed up BIG TIME! So congrads to Marty and (though I cant believe Im actually saying this...) GO NY - Beat LA!!!! (just this once!)
