So, the Superman movie, Man of Steel was released today and I just returned home after seeing it. As huge a fan of Superman as I am, I can honestly say it is the best Superman movie to date and fully exceeded any predictions I had for the movie. The main component is that this was very much an origin story and the ending set-up room for a sequel. Also, any fans of Smallville will remember the actor who played Milton Fine in a very small role in the movie. The only three bad parts about the movie were that the only mention or shout-out to Lex Luthor was a Lex-Corp semi, there was nothing after the credits, and during the movie, in one scene Clark and Lois were in one spot, one moment and another location the next with no mention what happened or why they got there. Was that the scene that had to be taken out/deleted from the movie. The acting was good, the storyline kept you entertained, the VFX and FX were amazing, Weta really knows how to make alien words look realistic, and the action scenes kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Overall 4.5/5 stars, any fan of Superman should see this movie.
