So the United States is now officially at war with ISIS? That comes with all the ambiguities that such a thing entails - I hate war, but recognize that it is sometimes necessary - these guys are evil, but so are many of the folks they are harassing, so stopping these bad guys means inevitably helping other bad guys... But what really gets me is the brief snippet I heard on the news this morning about it. The journalists second sentence in his report was something like, The President authorized these strikes last night, answering his critics, strikes that included XX Tomahawk cruise missiles... Really? The second sentence is about domestic criticism? I truly hope this strike is not about answering the Presidents critics, but about stopping guys who make a practice of beheading Americans on camera.
