Have you contemplated the thought of educating the children of our history. Why do these kids no more about Nikki Minaj, LIL Wayne, Yung Thug (smh) and that jigga boo Bobby Shurmna..... more so than they know about their roots. The people that paved the way, that fought and died for them to Shurma dance freely (SMH). Do they know how to connect the dots ; why Africans are behind in all levels, sociological, economical,,,,and so forth. Do they know about BLACK WALL STREET ? Mmmmmm? Could it be that you never transmitted that important information to your children. Are they aware that color TVs were once considered a luxury? And many of our folk had black and white TVs with the wrench to change the channel and aluminum foil on the broke antennas? Are they aware that at one time they could not freely integrate in society? Do they know at one time the only jobs for ancestors were to be a maid (nanny) or a pullman porter, or janitor (trans-generational poverty/systematic racism (decades)? If you cannot engage them let these DVDs teach them.
