So, the curtain has come down on another season and another 9 months work has come to an end. Its fair to say that was one of the strangest seasons Ive experienced in my time in football. Its a testament to the players that they showed the belief and togetherness to get themselves into contention on the final day of the season. I will say that I dont buy the we ran out of time excuse. We had plenty of time and plenty of chances; we also had plenty of bad luck! Working with an Under-19 team, you get to watch, and assist, the players develop, not only as footballers but as people. The group Ive just finished up with showed unbelievable character this season and they deserved something from it. A great bunch of players and I will truly miss working with them. Gentlemen, I wish you well in your future careers and lives. Thanks for the memories and the pleasure was all mine. KOH!
