So the day started out calmly, until an email came in - a contractor found four brand new babies in a paint bucket and mom was nowhere to be found. And so started the calls for help - we need a bottle feeder! I set up supplies, heating pad and carrier in preparation to feed them. A bit later, learned that the foster met the person who found them, and they were safe. Welcome Evangeline, Dara, Laila, Janiel (all variations of Angel). Just when I was about to put everything away, there is a knock at the front door - two of the cutest five week olds, found in a neighbors yard, starving. So there was a plan after all! Welcome Barbara Jean and Barrett, named after our Wednesday ambassador, BJ Barrett! Nicole Neill and I were battling as to who would take them, until we both realized we were crazy busy and neither of us had any business bottle feeding all night.
