So the docs at U of Iowa told me this week about my having endometriosis and pregnancy. Ok here is the catch in my situation: Everyone knows I want kids. However, the pain I get from endo is ridiculous. The way to relieve the pain requires meds I do not want to take anymore bcuz I am worried about my liver and kidneys going next. LbVs! So some of the meds that I CAN take would help me with the pain, but lessen my chance of pregnancy. Other meds with a hormone are not an option for me because of the risk of bloodclots and I have already had a Deep Vein Thrombosis in my right leg. Sooo its a catch-22. Ive also seen the high risk OB and decided if its just too much for me to conceive OR carry, I will adopt or just be fabulous, single, and get a puppy. Life is too short to be stressed out over things I cannot control. I absolutely want kids but I am not going to force it. Had to get this off my chest. :_)
