So the dog show we went to but werent entered in has turned into another adventure with Penelope... I really need a name for the truck at this point. We had a lovely time at Centralia show and enjoyed seeing some cardi family and cardi friends. We intended to go to the beach on Monday as Ladye really wanted a bingo night (Sun-Thurs at Lucky Eagle Casino). We went to the show Sunday morning and socialized the pups more.) EVERY VENDOR approached either donated or promised for next year for our NWCF silent auction. Club members will see a list of vendors to support eventually and those of you out of area (Or/Wa) or who might connect with less common vendors (a favorite artist for instance), I can provide a letter for donation! That said, Claire and Hunter have learned lots more of the traveling life of show (and soon-to-be-show) dogs. We ended up stranded at the casino RV park for four days. There is only one of the part my truck needs in all of the whole US and it is a used part. Part did not arrive on Tuesday as promised so I have a rental car and will be back in Centralia for truck and trailer pick up after work tomorrow. Really glad this all didnt happen in Idaho (so much further away). Positives are different experiences for pups, more lace knitting for me, and more bingo for Ladye. This old truck is too new not to fix... a 1999 with less than 50,000 miles ... but this does underline difficulty with breakdowns if we have future issues.
