So the dust has settled after what we still consider a great day - TopicsExpress

So the dust has settled after what we still consider a great day out at Heathcote . We spent a lot of late nights troubleshooting what seemed to be a list of never ending issues , one after the other. Things like changing fuel mixtures for no apparent reason , sudden misfires , not able to rev past 6250 rpm . We checked injectors , fuel pumps , replaced the ecu , operating system , cams , coils and finally after a lot of brainstorming got it all to work in unison. For some inexplicable reason , we couldnt get this car to spool up properly on Saturday , and as such the 60 foot times were almost embarrassing. I think I probably tried every tuning trick in the book and if its any excuse , we understand others were having similar issues. Having said that once it got moving , it got moving ! Still running full weight minus jack and spare wheel. Were going to fit up a bigger stall convertor to allow the GT42 to spool up faster and have another crack again soon (Y)
