So the end of 2014 is about 7 hours off. It is a much different end than it was in 2013 where I was in the midst of business transition. At the same time I was poised to take over as the President of the CSCIA and as the youngest member of the board, expected to lead a group of individuals who put their trust in me to move us forward to tackle the known and unknown issues over 2014 in our community. This year was about effort I believe. I put out a lot of effort, maybe not the most efficient effort at all times, but I put forth effort. I can be happy with the overall results 2014. The business transition ended up being very successful leading to my best production in 14 years in business. With that I have to thank my partner, Al and my assistant, Jenna and our back office support. Also must thank our clients for their patience during our transition. In Cape we tackled lots of issues, but I think the biggest challenge was replacing our 20 plus year Office Manager and finding a highly qualified candidate to train and move the community forward into the 21st century. We had lots of successes and its due to the Board I had around me. So a special thanks to the following Dawn, Mary, Kipp, Scott, Jennifer, Frank, Suzie, Lou, and Josephine. Along with all the employees of the CSCIA. You can read about our progress and improvements here: cscia.org/d/caper/caper.cfm Personally, I had a good year, took a vacation for the first time in 3.5 years, where I enjoyed 5 nights in Hawaii with my parents and old friends. I enjoyed plenty of good happy hours, friend get togethers and my annual Memorial Day Party. I took a weekend trip the Baseball HOF. I attended the Citizens Police Academy through Anne Arundel Police Department. Got to Skype with my Godchildren in England. I even got back on the exercise train by taking boot camp and met some new friends along the way. Lastly, I wouldnt be where I am with the support of my family & friends, so a special thanks to all of you. I hope all of you have great New Years Eve and best wishes to you in all in 2015!
