So the government decides to build a new prison and make cuts to health care. The timing of both decisions are terrible. As I believe that a new prison is important to provide a safe location to hold criminals but to also provide programs to ensure a criminal doesnt reoffend and function in society after they are released. But entering a project this size while we are going in the hole with the Muskrat Falls project is worrisome. Makes me worry what other cuts are coming to necessities like health care and education. Not to mention, our health care isnt doing well with the lack of doctors and specialist available. We need better decisions!!!
