So the humans birthday is over now. No more guests. Now all of us can enjoy the pressies she had, cause she got some really nice, and some really yummy pressies both for us cats and for herself. I added a pic here of what us cats got from the guests we had yesterday. We had an ok night. I snuggled with Herman and the human on the bed before the human fell asleep. But this morning the workmen started their noisy work before I got the chance to do it again, and instead I hid under the bed. The scaffolding at the front of the house is broken down already. At the back of the house its still there, so theres gonna be more noise when they break that one down. Im not looking forward to it, but I do hope theyll do that today too, cause thats probably the worst noise yet to come. As far as the human knows, they still have some work to do at the ground floor of our house, but they dont need the scaffolding for that, and the human does not expect that to be noisy. Us cats will have to be locked out of the living room for it, but as long as the noise isnt too loud, thats not too bad. When Herman snuggled with the human on the bed last night, he did something new again. When he wants kisses from the human, he no longer waits till she gives them to him. He just forces his head against her mouth so she almost has no choice! And even though he does it a little rough sometimes, the human likes it. So far Herman got what he wanted every single time he did it. Dushi snuggled with the human on the bed a bit this morning, but not for too long, cause Herman was on the bed too and in a playful mood then, and he came too close to her several times. She cant relax then, so she decided to go to the cat room again then. She didnt seem to mind the noise much, like Herman. But I think that she too hopes the workmen will be done soon, so she can go to work again. Even though the workmen havent been at the back of the house yet today, Jinx wasnt here for breakfast. He has been eating well last night, and hell be back once the workmen are gone again, Im sure. He spent all evening yesterday on the dirty duvet in the kitchen and the human managed to make a good pic of him again. She says he looks really cute in that one. Almost like a kitten. I really, really hope the workmen finish the work on our house today. Now that the birthday is over, I cant wait till peace and quiet returns and everything gets back to normal. The human already decided that no matter what, she will go away for Terrible Tuesday tomorrow. If the workmen arent done yet then and they need a door or window to be open, theyll have to come back Wednesday. Nijmegen, The Netherlands, 12:33 pm.
