So the idea is to fill Facebook with music instead of ice buckets, cats and other silliness. The idea is that you get given a letter and you have to pick a band/song that means something to you. Like this post for a letter. I very rarely take part in these, but music is close to my heart! I was given H, who else other than Heavens Basement could I choose? The band mean the absolute world to me like you couldnt ever imagine. Ive known of these guys since the summer of 2010, after a few mentions from a college classmate. I went all the way to Birmingham to photograph my first gig and Ive never looked back on Photography and the boys themselves. Since then Ive grown a great bond with the guys, photographed around 100 gigs, met new friends and even experienced running shows myself. They were the beginning of how my life is now, if they had never entered it, it would have been far more different. I choose Nothing Left To Lose because when seeing it played live for the first time, Mr Buchanan himself decided to sing part of the lyrics directly to me (& a friend at the time) like he knew it meant a lot to us, just as it did to him. Beautiful moment.
