So the journey is officially begin for my 10 day trip in UK to visit Edinburg, Manchester, Sheffield, Cambridge and London. I packed with 30 kg (presents and warm clothes basically) and imagined myself in one of the backpacking tour in 2014 in Australia. I booked the accommodation at Castle Rock Hostel, right opposite the Castle and arrived there around 11am yesterday. Though having a 24 hour trip from HCM City to Edinburg, I couldnt stop myself heading out there to the City and experienced the Xmas atmosphere. Gosh it was so cold, my finger tips were sore and I had to return back to my hostel to get more jackets to put on. I walked down to National Gallery, Royal Mile, St Giles Cathedral, the Outsider restaurant, couple of shops... I gotta say Edinburg is amazingly beautiful in Xmas time. There are lots of old boutique buildings like in fairy tales stories having prince and princess. I was wowed and admired at the architecture, the history and the vibe here. But ask me one thing I could do different next time is to drag my boy friend with me there, things could be in a different feeling. Today, I gonna have long walk over Royal Miles, the Palace, Arthurs Seat and maybe book a ticket at Festive Theatre and of course try the Scotch Whisky here.
