So the last couple of weeks have been very difficult. I sustained some kidney damage during my pregnancy with Rhett 12 years ago. My t1d complicates matters and after some tests we found out that I have Stage 1 Kidney Disease. God has blessed me by showing me a glimpse of the man my son will become. That truly is a gift, as I may not be around to see it. He has held my hand, held me, hugged me, been selfless and cooperative, and extremely sweet. He checks to see how Im doing and what he can do for me frequently. I have many people praying for me and couldnt be more grateful. God teaches me that He is strong in my weakness and that through His son I can do all things by His strength. So I will continue to fight this disease, both of them, t1d and CKD. I will embrace the opportunity to live out my testimony to bring Him glory, with my precious husband and son by my side! #isaiah4031 #philippians413
