So the neuro-ophthalmologist looked at my brain MRI and said “you have a lot more spots on your brain scan since your episode”. And I said, maybe you need to clean you screen and there would be less spots. I do try… He gave me that this is serious look and then he looked down at my chart. I think he was checking my age and then he look up and suggested I think about pain medications, and in my best James Bond manner I said “ Scotch, works fine for me.” Really, nothing, this is my best stuff. Well in the end I refused pain medication explaining that I use this technique of visualization to manage my pain. I said see I go out and have all these adventures and take all these pictures of the beauty of life and when I am in pain I think about all those great moments.
