So the news of the week has been centered around this missing jet. Through thorough painstaking measures, they can safely say..........they still dont know where it is at. They have simply informed us that through man-made means it has simply vanished. They dont know if it is terrorism or highjacking or a crazed pilot or........whew, the list goes on. Simply put.......they just dont know. And........this is news......that they dont know????? Obviously, my heart goes out to all the passengers and all their family and friends that await their return.....and we do indeed pray for a safe return. However......with all of mans intellect and wisdom......they still cant tell you much. And what they do know......they arent telling. Or is it......they want us to believe that they are intelligent and that they still dont know. With all the tracking devices.....all the satellite imagery......hey, I got an idea.......lets Google it!!! Amazing.......how do you lose a jet filled with over 200 people......only man could accomplish that feat. Along with the disappearance of Judge Crater, Amelia Earhardt, and who really was on that grassy knoll........we have proven that mans knowledge is extremely limited. And just which one of us can tell what the heart of man really involves. With all the experts at all the trials of all the different nutcases giving all the different scenarios........it comes down to this.......they still dont know. But, there is One in Heaven Who is in the know. Lets see.....theres this word that best describes Him........God. Well......there is this other word I went to college for.....Hes omniscient......all-knowing. I like the other one better though. Hes just God!!!! Profound thought.....but it kind of sums it all up. Now, even though we cant find a plane.......He hasnt lost sight of it. He knows just where these passengers are and what they are going through. He knows the number of hairs on my head.......He even knows when a sparrow falls from the sky.......or even when my heart is aching and the tears want to well up because of the frustrations of the day. He knows the time of laughter and joy that comes leaping from my heart because of happy thoughts. Wow.......Hes just simply God. Yes sir......not a thing is done out of His watchful eye.......He knows!!!! Now that can be a good thing.....or a very bad thing......depending upon what I do even in the darkest recesses of life. There is no corner He cant see around......no rock is left unturned.......He knows it all. The total sum of my life.....He just simply knows. But the big question is this.......is He pleased with what He sees and knows??? I can never hide from God......no matter how many fig leaves I can sew together.....He knows me because He is God. So......when it comes to missing planes, broken hearts, evil thoughts, malicious words.....He sees, hears and knows all. Something for us all to remember as we long for the day we stand in front of Him. As I used to tell my mom when I did something wrong.........I hope as I stand in front of Him I will have more to say then.......Ive been a very bad boy. How much nicer to hear those words......Well done, thou good and faithful servant......enter thou into the joy of the Lord. Its all in how you look at Him......after all......He is just.........God.
