So, the other day Im using my realistic STUFFED dog, a Springer Spaniel named Stuffy, while working with a dog-reactive dog near Bayou St. John. The set-up is pretty simple: Stuffy and I are concealed behind a building and our Reactive Rover is sitting next to his Mom on the sidewalk about a half block away waiting for us to come into view. I note that Stuffy & I are standing near a large pile of dog poop, so I take out a bag and am picking up said poop when a family walks by. They smile at me & my dog (who is on a harness & leash, by the way) then note that the dog is not real, then see that I am behind it picking up a large pile of poop. They dont say a word, just a quick look away and down the street they go.
