So the past few weeks - I have been working to change my lifestyle a little (all things in moderation). I turn 53 this coming June and as most of the good ole US of A - need to shed some fluffiness. Im happy to say - after 8 days of complete devotion - I may have found my niche. 8 days 8.8 lbs... pretty happy with my results. Just remembering that Rome wasnt built in a day. I keep repeating to myself - Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels. I do not want to be skinny - just a little less fluffy. Praying my willpower stays in tact. I have a really GREAT support system, my awesome hubby Michael R Cagle) who weights and cooks my meals, Teresa Zielke Thomas who turned me on to this lifestyle change and my friend Greta who keeps me motivated. ONE thing I have discovered - healthy food - AINT CHEAP! But so worth it. I can actually taste my salads which before were smothered in bleu cheese dressing. I can taste my meats without being smothering in ketchup, BBQ sauce, honey mustard, etc. Enjoying their taste is a new discovery that I love. MISSING my bread, chicken and dumplings, mac and cheese... but when I reach my goal - these are OFF LIMITS! I will gradually add them in and only in moderation. I love my curves - always have, as does my hubby - but in his words - I just want you to be around longer. Figured now is as good of a time as ANY! If I can do this - anyone can.... a positive thought would be so very appreciated - to help me reach my goal.
