So, the people who study these things say that the people in the USA who are most satisfied with their healthcare coverage are #1 Veterans, and #2 Medicare patients. And yet we had to pass a bastardized a healthcare plan in order to get coverage for everyone because certain segments of the Republican Party oppose anything government. And yet the two most successful medical programs in the USA are socialized single-payor health plans that the congress did everything it possibly could to avoid. The wonderful old system where we were at the mercy of our benevolent employer to provide coverage, provided great care to those who afford it, did little in the way of basic healthcare and preventative medicine, and have an abysmal satisfaction rating amongst the public. So I ask, why dont we send the conservatives who just think socialized medicine is a cuss word packing, and simply expand Medicare for all citizens as soon as we flush the maximum taxable income for SS and Medicare taxes! Then we can flush Obamacare and the old employer/private provider system down the toilet once and for all!
