So the saga continues. Fred Kiogima and Deb DeLeon failed to get the injunction to stop the recall election and failed to file in the Constitutionally mandated timeframe to contest the recall election results. Now, they are appealing the latter. The Constitution says a tribal citizen needs to contest election results in 10 days, they filed in 10 business days. The recall election results cannot be certified until this is resolved by the Appellate Court, meaning they continue to be on administrative leave and receiving full compensation as Chair and Vice Chair. You dont have to wonder why they continue to stall, greed.
