So the search for the right church fit has began. This morning the kids and I went to North Star with Nerkles family but didnt get to hear a sermon. My disappoint was short lived because after the guest speakers gave their speeches I realized this IS what I was meant to hear. A problem for me at church has been intimidation because I dont know the bible. Today I heard many people say they could quote scripture to you, grew up in church and was raised by a Godly family but never had heart or really excepted Jesus. Today I was shown that not being able to quote the bible is okay because in my heart I have the calling to learn and the want to change my life. I am so thankful that at the last minute the plans were changed because I have been inspired. Today I made a promise to Jesus to read no more books, the only book to cross my lap will be the bible. Many of you know I am an avid reader but nothing of substance, what many dont know is this has been weighing heavily on me. Today answered the question of what to start reading. I have to say thank you Jessica Dennis because that Devotional Bible you gave me when I married Nerkle is proving to be another answer to another prayer. So that being said I am very thankful for today and wanted to share what listening to the correct voice has given me!
