So the speech therapist asked me, Is he always like this? and she looks at him as if he is some alien child. The this she was referring to is Angels hyperactivity. I know my child is not always easy but she just met him and because he ran into the gym they have here she has preconceived notions about him. This was all before I could even give her the profile I completed letting her know more about him and his personality. I am already turned off but if she asks me one more crazy question I am requesting another therapist. She sounds like she just took her board exams and has no experience with kids on the spectrum. I may be overreacting but it rubbed me the wrong way. Thanks for letting letting me vent.
