So the talk if me going back to teaching has come up...but then quickly went away...and the reason why is irritating in a way. I left teaching almost 3.5 yrs ago bringing home $893.00 every two weeks (and I did the 1 lump sum check for summer)...when you calculate the cost of daycare $600-800/mo plus before and after school care for Jj (unless I by some rare chance for hired on at her school) Im out another $400+ before you know it thats $1200 out the door a month to work my @ss off to being home roughly 400+$ a month...I have run into so many moms/teachers that have quit for this exact reason. Why is it that the people who educate the leaders of this world cant even make enough $ to support their own family. Now w that said if I was making 50-60,000 a year doing it...it would completely make sense. Its just agrivating!
