So the theme for today-we need to keep reaching out to each other. The abuse, neglect, and abandonment will be less and less when we are reaching out to each other. The Real Work begins with the Actual closure of slaughter. We have to be aware of what is happening to Americas horses everywhere. We have a network that is empowering us to help. My neighbor pondered why would we keep my mini in the round pen for the past 2 days, so she asked. I walked her out to the iced over pasture and together we fell down with my son laughing out loud. Well thats all she wondered and she says to our puppy Scoobee Doo mystery solved...horses and ice dont do well together....my mini reared and played in the snow, raised his top lip laughing at us. Reaching out, asking questions, knowing whats going on is the best preventative maintenance there is. We have to Help each other. This is an initiative to make change and we can make that change by helping each other. Keep your eyes open, make quick decisions, the longer you wait to resolve the problem, the longer the animals suffer in it. If you dont get action, then look at the situation and see what action needs taken next. No Crying Wolf calls, you know the ones, where you dont like someone so you make calls. Investigators, rescuers, and lawmakers need the real deal, it costs money, takes time away from real situations, be sure and then move forward.
