So the toothache I had last night has turned into something I never would have thought. I had a root canal done on one of my back teeth 3 years ago. They put a temporary filling in it until the nerves in my tooth had died. Well they died a couple months after that and the temporary filling came out which was no big deal. Well part of that dead tooth fell out last night but it had left some of the tooth still impacted in my gums. Well i woke up @ 4:30 this morning with the whole right side of my mouth all puffed up like i had chipmunk cheek! I dont have any pain at all what-so-ever, just a puffy cheek! Guess I will be making a trip to the dentist early Monday morning! I dont think its infected but there is something going on. Normally I have pain and a little pus pocket if a tooth is infected. I do not have any of those signs except a puffy chipmunk cheek. I have taken Motrin 800 to control the swelling but its hasnt gone down nor has it went up. its still the same. I have taken antibiotics to make sure its not infected and i have been applying an ice pack to see if the swelling goes down. Nothing is making the swelling go down but the swelling isnt any worse than @ 4:30 this morning. So a trip to the dentist it is (Monday Morning)!!
