So the vultures, aka the IMF have been in town and have handed out their latest orders to the muppets in our government - and they want to cripple us even more, ah they went for the easy targets yet again - the social welfare being one of them, saying its higher than International standards - I wonder did they take into consideration the extremely high cost of living here and incredibly high rate of tax... They also want a hard hitting property tax - that auld property tax fiasco is going nowhere - unreal that you have a tax on your home, the very home that you pay every cent to keep a roof over your families head and you will NEVER finish paying for it, even when the mortgage is paid for and you retire - you will never stop paying! Your latest payment of the property tax has gone towards Irish water - wonder whats next?? Oh and dont forget, every time you are given good news about property prices on the rise again - so will your property tax - it goes on the valuation of your home.. As the IMF said, they went after the low-hanging fruits or in other words - the easy targets, sure they dont expect us to fight back, we have taken most of it up to now...
