So the weatherman is really having a tough time predicting when - TopicsExpress

So the weatherman is really having a tough time predicting when fall/winter weather will hit. This mornings forecast was a total implosion and reduced the overall accuracy to point two percent better than the average hi & lo for the day. Global warming caused by CO2? Perhaps, but shouldnt we be able to predict the weather 10 days from now before we jump into forecasts decades in the future? ALL of the climate models require a temp forecast without the influence of CO2 in order to measure the impact of mans emissions. So the accuracy of their CO2 influence prediction is directly related to the accuracy of long range temp forecasting. It really gets messy when somebody starts asking for recorded predictions and results for recent years. NOAA has even resorted to cutting off their own graphs in 2000, thirteen years stale. In personal conversation, I was informed that it was not feasible to update their graph with current temp data! BTW - I have the data in digital form, and know why they do not want it on their predictive chart!
