So there has been a lot of comments about us euthanizing healthy dog (strays). All animals/strays brought into us by any city or town are checked for microchips and held for anywhere 1-2 weeks, depending on available space before being euthanized. So yes all of them are given a chance, but we are clinic and Hospital that houses and cares for client own pets that we care for deeply. We put all our effort into making every visit and stay in our hospital as easy and comfortable as we can for both the patients and the clients. Most of the negative comments are coming from people out of state or out of town not even associated with our practice. We appreciate all of those that have stood up for us in these matters. We were brought into a situation that we do not have complete control over. But we are doing our best to make the best out of the situation. We have agreed to be no part of this ban in Moreauville and were never apart of it. The paper of the minutes stating us as the clinic was done without our knowledge. A letter will be going out to the town of Moreauville this week stating that we will not participate in this ban. As far as all the others that are bashing us on the euthanasia issue of strays, we will be glad to take your phone number and address so that when strays come into our office and are in need of a home we will get in touch with you and you are more than welcome to take them in and care for them.
