So there has been like a spam of essentially he said, she said things about people being accused of harassment and such, Its really not all that much of a reliable method. A good way to go about harassment and such is this, (my opinion but it has worked for me ( I do free hugs, sometimes people dont just ant a hug)) If youre having a problem, be it with a guy or girl a good 3 things to do is first look for close by security to go talk to, generally you can report them and it will be taken care of right there or the person will ditch but you can tell them to look out for said person, if you cant find one look for a friend nearby if you need to text or call you can unless youre to uncomfortable to do such look around, 99% of the people at con are nice and will help out others because we are awesome like that, go up to someone and greet them like you know them, if you feel comfortable enough give them a hug drop a hint that said person is not leaving you alone and you need a hand, most of the time people will be nice enough to help out of drag you away from the situation and help you find security, staff or just in general away from the person. instead of just calling out people that may or may not be bad just react when something happens instead of actively avoiding a person that you have never met and have no real proof they are bad in any way. thats just my opinion at least. .-. and I guess a real last resort would be to cause a scene if things are truly getting out of hand.
