So there is this Yosemite-loving, waxing poetic side to me. Beautiful landscape scenes and quotes about positive living, the stance of an activist when it comes to preserving and protecting wildlife and the wilderness, lover of friends and family and lover of the one of I love are the things I share. Dancers and musicians, buskers, and artists fill my page, quotes from famous works of literature and a love for the stars and the sky too. And that is the nice side - the acceptable side. The one that is appropriate for Facebook. What are the rules? Dont share too much personal stuff - your thoughts and feelings especially - because when you do you will be judged - which will result in gossip and unfriending. So, um, what are we to each other here if not honest and real - just a magazine collection of pretty people and smiling faces and birthdays and celebrations? What about the heart of the matter? What about people really knowing each other and really listening - even on the unlovely days? No one, and I mean NO ONE can be as happy as Facebook posts make us try to convince each other of. We are ALL carrying a burden, this day - this minute, and we are doing our best to focus our minds on other things - thats what Facebook is - a distraction from the truth. Well, here is my truth. Everything I have shown you I am, I AM - I love and care deeply, I have a gentle and compassionate side, and I celebrate the beauty that I see in you and myself and in and around me - but we all have a dark side. A side that gets mad, fed up, tired of the socially acceptable, politically correct way of breathing and existing on this planet so we dont step on anyones toes. Well, I am certainly not trying to step on anyones here, I am just being candid. If not real, then what else - oh, I know what else...Yosemite and Pearl Jam posts to keep the ghosts away. Thats right. Ill say it for you - take the words right out of your mouth....Whoa, whats up with her today?!!! If that thought crossed your mind - then this post was wasted on you.
