So, there was a 3 strikes law in California that said, if you were arrested on 3 felony charges, your life was basically over. And because crack was considered WAY worse than powder cocaine (this makes no sense, seeing as how you need powder cocaine to make crack), but because it was considered a black problem as opposed to the powder being considered a white problem, lots of young black men were sentenced to 20yrs in prison for selling a $20 crack rock. All the shit is bad, but cmon... really? So with this past election, that law has been repealed, which is setting free a lot of those poor young men serving 20 yrs while white dudes selling $5000 worth of powder were being slapped on the hand. Ran across this video, which is showing that crack is no longer a black problem. Palm Beach, Florida is having some problems of their own now.
