So there we have it folks. The General Election is over and what we know is: It was the third lowest turn out in history The voters in Epsom couldnt work out that a vote for Act was a vote for National Does any one care that 275,000 thousand children woke up hungry this morning Who cares that inequality is growing Who cares that the civil service has been politicised Who cares that government debt has ballooned out by $55 Billion under National Who cares that joining the TPPA is now inevitable Who cares there is no regional development policy Who cares that the rock star economy is a chimera Dirty Politics is now endemic Corruption is alive and well in NZ and no one cares Who cares that employment law is to be weakened further Who cares that NZ has become a surveillance society. What a sad place the country has become. I dont care what party people backed but I care passionately at the complacency and the inability to get properly informed and react accordingly. This is now a very divided country.
