So theres going to be a reboot of Ghostbusters staring an all female cast. Personally I couldnt care less about whether this is played by men, women or purple aliens with 14 d**ks on their forehead. What I do care about is that Ghostbusters is a unique movie that worked because of a unique cast, especially Bill Murray. It was great because of the 80s effects, the one liners and all sorts of other reasons that you cant quite place a finger on. It was just cool. And for exactly that reason, Ghostbusters 2 didnt really work. The surprise and the charm was gone and what we were left with was just an ordinary, sometimes funny movie. Now were in for a spectacular ride no doubt with grand special effects, lots of sass (oh no you dint! Ghost, you did NOT just say that!) and possible the likes of that god awful Sandra Bullock taking a great movie, striping it down and going to town on it. Im hoping for the best but I fear the worst...
