So these are now my gigging guitars. Obviously very different tonally and volume wise, and all three have different pickups. Using a mic might be more hassle than I could manage cos Im standing up playing now. On the stool is a zoom g2. Ive used it thus week at two gigs; first time I had to have a LONG soundcheck, second time I was running the PA so no big deal. With a bit of perseverance, I aim to set three channels to give a similar volume and an acceptable tone range, still retaining most of their reso characteristics. And then if required, stick some other effects in. Anyone else gone down this route?
