So things happened today that didnt go our way. The buyers of our house somehow lost their loan and we were notified an hour prior to closing. This, of course, ruined us for moving into our new home. Was a really rough first part of the day. Times like this often show that when youve tried hard to be a decent person in life, people step up for you. We had friends who contacted us so we could store everything we had loaded in our rented truck that has to be returned. This was a huge help and when I got there, there was a jag of Brothers there to help not only unload the truck, but then came all the way from Fruitville to our old house and helped put some basics back into it so wed have a place to lay our heads. Others dropped what they were doing and drove some distance to help my family as well. Chuck Foskey and Eric. Justin Elliott ken vickers. Crystal Kauffman Cooper (David). Taylor Harrison and David Haines all made magic for a brother in need and helped us get back into Bennett Rd. Our agent stepped up strong and hit the street hard and may have developed a solution that could get the issues resolved, which could put us closing again maybe next Tuesday. Hopin it will work out or we will be out a ton of $$. It may not have worked today, and it may not at all. But we still have a ton of things to be happy about. We have each other, a roof over our head, food, lights, jobs, clothes, and people who are willing to assist when a brother and his family are tripped up. Plus the guys who were gonna help us this morning before things went turd on us. We have so much when so many have so little, it is embarrassing to feel like weve been kicked. So I apologize for ranting earlier. Things were bleak and I was hurting for my Mrs more than myself. But was hurting too and vented before looking at all I have. All the kind posts and the ton of support texts and messages are greatly appreciated and eye-opening. Thanks to all.
