So this emotional post was inspired by Gary Abbott and something - TopicsExpress

So this emotional post was inspired by Gary Abbott and something he posted about how wonderful it is living in this awesome community. Kim and I been told some difficult things in the past few weeks. My husband has been positive and upbeat from the very beginning, but there have been some tough hours. Though he does not say much, I read him like a book. Each time his mood has become somber someone has always done something wonderful, never having any idea at the time how perfect their timing was. Pam Miner making shirts for Dani and the girls to run in a cancer fundraiser for their Popa! What a smile that put on his face. Vernon High School and Coach Bobby Johns allowing Kim to sit in the box where it was warm so he could watch Vernon High School Play in the playoffs Brian Riviere/ because they know just how much he wanted to see his son help coach a team we have grown to love play. A blanket made for Kim by a sweet lady who did not personally know him but made a blanket and had church ladies pray healing prayers over it for him to take to Houston. Elayna Shae Burrell and her inspiration to have shirts printed supporting him and the cosmetology class surprising him with them after he returned from our trip to Texas. The sign showing support posted at Jessica Hamilton Hamiltons General Store so that he sees it as he passes each day. Texts, phone calls, cards, food, visits and many other things that have shown a kindness that is truly amazing, you all know who you are.. So many people/churches (too may to name) including our church Carmel Assembly of God Church falling on their knees and praying without ceasing on his behalf. Humbled does not describe the feeling your love makes us feel! The thoughtfulness of our friends, family and community is how the whole world should be. I will take this small town country living and these honest and good Godly people any day over the hustle and bustle of big city life! We love our community and the awesome communities that surround it. Kim has always said this is Gods Country and I truly believe it literally is! He is having his port put in tomorrow and will begin his chemo this week! Thank You for your continued prayers. Our prayer is that everyone going through difficult times for any reason will be given the love we have been shown and that the Healing Rain we are praying for will fall on each of them! Feeling Blessed!
