So this is Christmas, and whether or not you celebrate Christmas, or just the feeling of Christmas and the Christmas spirit that abounds in everyone at this Time of year, it is also a Time to reflect over the past year, and look forward to the coming 2015. Chris has stayed busy for this season, attending different events such as the special Bethel House Hospice Tree lighting ceremony, where people could donate to have a light added to the tree in memory of someone they have lost. Bethel House was wonderful to Taira and her family and friends when they were in need of these special Angels. Of course General Bear also went in Honour of Taira, and this year Bethel House raised $94,000. Christmas evening was spent gathered at Pentii and Marlas home and was nice to have the family together, but everyone still thinks daily of the one missing from her space at the table. Tairas brother Jani went to visit her , and though there is a lot of physical distance between Brampton and where Taira rests, everyones heart and thoughts are together with her. Lights shine by the gravesite, so that there is no darkness at night, and the roses that were placed there on the first anniversary of when Taira left us, have not disintegrated in the Finnish cold, but seem to reflect that our love and caring for her remain. Jani keeps a candle lit for his sister watched over by Pukki (Santa), and Chris keeps Tairas favourite Angel lit in his home. Life continues onwards, but not a day goes by that the family do not think of Taira. She was such a unique , loving person, and Christmas was her favourite Time of year. Chris would like to extend a very Merry Christmas , on behalf of the family, to everyone .
