But as a matter of public policy, I cant swallow wholesale the platform of someone who offers no Progressive solutions for our increasingly diverse, growing, & sprawling population as well as allowing TEA Party-ers & gun-toting vigilantes to run roughshod across our state. Rick Scotts incessant fear-mongering over Floridas debt is also disingenuous in a state in which legislators are constitutionally bound to pass a balanced budget every yr (clever accounting techniques aside), even as institutions dependent on state grants remain strapped for funding. & let me avoid a rant concerning the dubious dubious grounds on which you rejected financing for high-speed rail & the Affordable Care Act. My home state remains a playground for Libertarians (granted, much of the state is rather socially conservative), where you have access to what you can afford à la carte – govt & taxes be damned if it means financing a liberal arts education, or worse: fluoridating your tap water. All in all Rick Scott, I cannot vote for you & the Know-Nothing baggage you entail.
