So this is it ... a crazy day of many things due ... we shall see if I make it. Should have pulled an all-nighter last night and I just couldnt do it ... Had fun at lab and one of my lab partners got accepted to a couple of law schools ... I have been following his progress as I am law school bound myself in Fall 2016 and he did not have the greatest LSAT scores but good GPA ... I somehow sense that may be my situation as well - will find out when I take the LSATs in June I guess. He is getting a $90K scholarship - impressive. And on the way home I let myself get into a conversation on the shuttle with a medical student from San Diego who works here currently - somehow got nothing done on the commute back ... so this morning when I saw the familiar face of a regular - I just smiled and sat up front and head down, focused on my laptop and wrote. Oh well ... I just cant have distractions. This will be the last time I am on campus, other than sitting for my Anthropology final next Wednesday. Still a few final projects due next week via email. One will include breaking out arguments from my appellate brief last year ... school has been a therapeutic process in many ways ... and definitely a learning experience ... I am feeling so enriched these days ... overwhelmed as well ... the vacuum that was my 8 year existence in Watseka has made this all that much harder I think but yeah ... its SO worth it. I cannot wait to just sleep tonight a much less-stressed sleep. And thank God for espresso this morning :) Wish me luck :)
