So this is my first foodie post in terms of actual food so hope you guys enjoy. I happen to despise store bought shnitzel and much prefer to prepare my own. This is my personal recipe. Separate three bowls - one with mixed eggs, one with bread crumbs (pick your favorite), and one with the following sauce mix Two tbsp bbq sauce 1 tbsp ketchup 1 dash lemon juice (squeezed or store bought) 2oz water 2 tbsp of your favorite hot sauce (I use Scorpion chili and extract sauces because I love heat) After prepping the chicken into nice slices and using a tenderizer, dip the chicken in the egg, followed by the sauce mixture and then bread crumbs. Once completed prep a pan with tin foil (easier to clean up afterwards) and pop in the toaster oven with both bottom and top selected on max heat. Depending on how you like your shnitzel set the timer for 35 minutes and adjust as it becomes a lighting brown and starts to get crispy. In terms of kashrut I honestly have no idea I dont think the hot sauces I use have any kosher symbol on them but you can also substitute chili flakes as well. Hope you all enjoyed :D
