So, this is something thats been on my mind a lot the last few weeks. This is NOT something I want to debate about, and it is NOT an invitation to start having a conversation with me about. Just something I need to get out. As a Christian, I get a lot of people tell me that I dont look like one, I dont talk like one, Im too smart to be one. Although, I tend to get this from people of all religions, its mostly from people who dont know me. Now, I know the bad name that Christians have taken on in the last few centuries, but that doesnt give anyone the right to bash what I believe or what I think. I DO NOT GIVE A SHIT WHAT YOU BELIEVE. That is between you and whatever you worship. I would never force my beliefs down your throat, so try not to do the same to me, okay? If you wanna have an ACTUAL intelligent, open-minded conversation with me, SWEET. But if you wanna have a conversation where you wont be open to understand anything I believe/feel, and all you do is attack me, you can bet I WILL walk away. This doesnt mean you win; it means that Im not gonna waste my time talking to someone that doesnt want to listen. PERIOD. I know that Im a hypocrite and a sinner. Big freaking whoop. You think you have all my ideals figured out? Guess what, you dont. Being ignorant and narrow-minded is bad no matter what you believe. Guess what asshole atheist thats reading this and thinking youre superior? That makes you JUST AS BAD as the rest of us (guaranteed theres a Christian reading this thats thinking the same things you are right now). There are extremists in every religion; dont blame the rest of us for their doings. I LOOK LIKE A CHRISTIAN. Because Im a human. I TALK LIKE A CHRISTIAN. I pray and talk to God (and He hasnt yelled at me once for cussing, by the way). IM A SMART CHRISTIAN. Thats NOT a contradiction. I AM A CHRISTIAN. Maybe just not the kind that fits into your bubble. Lets just get all of that straightened out.
