So this is why I LOVE homeschool: My kids have worked HARD all week long, and so have I. Last night the boys stayed up late watching football. I was working online. Everyone is obviously tired today. Normally my kids get up to a 7:15 a.m. alarm. It is now 8:30 and they are both fast asleep, but since we have nowhere to be today, I am going to let them sleep. Im even going to surprise them with waffles when they get up. We might even sit on our deck and read aloud with a slow start to our day. Yes, I believe in structure and responsibility -- but today Im just going to enjoy the beautiful weather and the fact that I dont have to bend to anyones elses scheduling demands or restrictions. Whos with me???
