So this just happened: After voting at the public school two blocks from my apartment, on my short walk home, as I turn onto my street a ponytailed, lululemon wearing woman power walking, wearing headphones and talking on her cell phone, turns onto the street at the same time. She is a walking a few feet in front of me, and as we pace one another I can tell that she is increasing her stride. My building sits about 200 feet from the corner where our paths met and I am walking directly to my door. This woman, after a few moments, looks once again over should and then makes a immediately right crossing the street. It is very apparent to me that she is uncomfortable with me walking on the sidewalk essentially beside her. Her manner is deliberate and very unfriendly. I arrive at my building and she keeps looking at me from across the street, so I say in my stentorious of voices, Shame on you Miss. That was very rude of you and anything but neighborly.
