So this landlord that Ive had trouble with since I moved in here in January of 2014 it rained in my upstairs bedroom window flooded my upstairs bedroom all the way into the laundry room and bathroom ran down to the front living room walls all over the downstairs floor ruined a lot of our stuff when we first moved in and it continued to do this through August of 2014 when I took him to court mediation court because I put my rent money in escrow so then he agreed to let me out of my lease but I have not been able to find a place to live to sense as of yet and have been steadily looking so they finally fixed the window couple months ago and Ive been getting a bill for the money that I still have an escrow for rent because he agreed that when I move out I get that money back he does not get it so Im leaving it sit there until I move out and then Ill release it to get it in the meantime I paid my rent December 25th December 29th Im sorry and they sent me a bill yesterday for 1500 dollars for the 700 something thats in escrow that is rightfully mine and stated in court papers plus the January 2015 rent which I just called my bank to verify that the certified check has been cashed in they have been paid so Im a little confused Im feeling a little rest in the place before this I lived up for 3 months he never did give my 20 $200 back and took me a bill for 8000 some $1 and accuse me of stealing his pantry doors Im really disgusted with landlords I want a house I just want a home where I can stay and pay my rent and I pay every month on time early and I cant find a home suitable thats decent its nice its comfortable I dont understand it
