So, this last year has been a real roller coaster. Bands have been fantastic, gigs have been awesome from a performance point of view, but sadly, attendances have been really up and down. Lesser people would have given up, some people in my situation have given up! But not me! Im in no way gonna stop doing gigs, although things do have to change. So, for that reason, I have decided to take BritRockArmy to the next level, and move into band management. Ive already put the feelers out there, Ive had bands express their interest, and Im now left with the decision of which bands to work with, as I cant possible handle the number of bands interested on my own. I do kind of have an idea of where Im gonna go, but nothing is set in concrete. Im really excited about this prospect, its a new challenge to sink my teeth into, and Im hoping it will be nothing but successful for all concerned. It does mean though, that there will be some changes happening. Mainly, so that I can make sure the bands get my full attention, the number of gigs will be scaled down to 1 every month, maybe 6 weeks. I am planning on something pretty special for later in 2014, but theres a lot of organising for that to be done. Anyway, heres to the future, and everything exciting that lies ahead!!
