So this morning..............I MUST HAVE A.D.D..............or some other disorder.......... Anyway.......I opened up something I saved on my desktop about Native American History in KY. And I decided to look up where Doubleheads grave was. K? So I did and went saw a link to google satellite.........and lo and behold, its not far from my Grandmothers Farm......not at all. You just go up the road to the Sugar Hollar and then east, then turn right on Kidder Road.......the problem is.......KIDDER ROAD ENDS where you jog on over to Doubleheads grave. So what are you supposed to do TREK THROUGH THE BLOODY FOREST? Sigh. I guess there are dirt roads where the paved ones end...........there always is.....some of those roads though....I mean sheesh theres 5 foot long black snakes on them and ruts and yea you could probably lose your suspension....... BUT ANYWAY, I noticed its a hop skip and a jump from the farm. So I was thinking. Im probably related to Chief Doublehead.........I mean really......his grave is a hop and a skip and his cave is a hop and a skip......he had a daughter named Kitssiah and my relatives name that is a Cherokee is Kitziah. Now thats pretty close, the thing is its the wrong time span. Too early.....but the offspring part of it isnt.......because Doublehead fathered 100s of children with several wives........a multitude. I just know Im related to that dude. Well, its not the worst thing in the world I guess............ But I went off on a tangent and went down to Cumberland Falls on google satellite map, where you can just move the page all over the bloody Country. You could probably go from one end of the Country to the other........but it would take a long long time. Anyway, I (GET TO THE POINT) went on a fake canoe trip down the Cumberland River and expected it to end in Tennessee. IT DIDNT. IT GOES EAST......I thought for sure it went down. It goes all the way over to near Virginia and then poops out after it turns into a creek and runs through peoples back yards.........last place you can see it is by Roberts Branch.....wherever that is. Near Partridge? Anyway, GUESS WHAT ELSE I RAN INTO? MOUNTAIN TOPPING wasteland. I noticed when the Cumberland turned into a creek and ran out--I saw white ugly patches where it looked like a nuclear holocaust had taken place. Then I realized this is mountain topping patches. GOOD GOD IN HEAVEN WHAT HAVE THEY DONE? So in order to save a few miners lives you will pollute and kill everyone around the area--people and critters -- just to make it safer than going into an underground mine? THEY ARE POLLUTING EVERYTHING AND MAKING IT INTO A WASTELAND. Its horrible. Ive read about it before today. Just disgusting. Craziness...........you see nothing but forest and green, then all of a sudden all these white spots show up on the map near Partridge, KY. Where Black Mountain is.......the same arse**** that mined all those Appalachian Mountains in Virginia, wants to start working his way westward into KY. Hes already gotten his way several times by the looks of it. This process causes cancer and leaves toxic waste everywhere. People live there. Theyve been there their whole lives. It turns into a cesspool that pollutes air, streams, rivers, and land. They say they will reforest it but the reforestation techniques do not take. It will never be the same again and all for less than 5 percent of the nations coal requirements. WHY ARE WE EVEN USING COAL? WHAT PART OF ALTERNATIVE ENERGY DONT YOU PEOPLE UNDERSTAND? Those trees make our oxygen. The pictures are hideous. Congress is weakening laws designed to curb the toxicity of this all........and they just fined this billionairre baron 10 million dollars..........10 MILLION DOLLARS, THAT IS A DROP IN THE BUCKET TO SOMEONE LIKE HIM.........hes probably laughing about it. Reminds me of the Eagles Last Resort song. Google Satellite pics are MUCH more defined than those well groomed pics you see on anti-mountain topping websites.
