So this morning I am venting and anyone who might have insight to why this was done like this, please set me straight. For the life of me, I dont understand the reasoning on why this would be done. On Thursday, my brother-in-law was transported home by ambulance from Pittsburgh. My sister was not far behind in her car - but far enough to get stopped by an accident. When the ambulance got to their apartment, the ambukance workers just left Mike there. Keep in mind this man has been incoherent due to kidneys shutting down and toxins in his body for well over a week. I am assuming these people in the ambulance are EMTs. Why would they just leave him there alone? Surely they had been made aware of his condition befor leaving Pittsburgh! Thank God Tami and Mikes landlord was next door at his office and was able to stay with Mike until Tami got there. He had been outside helping to get Mike up the stairs...but not as someone designated to stay with Mike. When the ambulance workers left, they didnt even tell the landlord they were leaving. :-( Am I missing something here, folks? Trying to make some sense of this. Thank you.
