So, this morning I am woken up by people shouting and cars honking right outside my window. Now, Vallejo Ave is a busy street but it is not normally all that noisy. I look out my window and see that a car is on fire less than 20 feet or so up the street! Crazy! Thanks to the quick actions of the Novato Fire Protection District and the Novato Police Department, the situation was resolved quickly. Happy to report that no injuries resulted from this though from what I could tell, the car involved was totaled. It really shows just how well trained the employees of both departments are and that they really do work well together.
