So this morning my generator to post app told me to post my history and feelings about my best male friend, so here it is! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ You need to find out who your true friends are, you need a shit storm, or a bad breakup, everyone goes through one of these, but when it happens, you can count on the people who really will be their for you. My best guy friend is Darrel, we met in HS and funny enough it was over me talking about Resident evil:code veronica X and he happen to over hear and ask me a few questions, over the course of a few days we met in the lunch area, at one point we asked about family and it turned out we were cousins. It was quite a shock, but a good one. I have had some very bad best friends before him, David Trail being one, well I had fun with David but he pushed me into doing a lot of no nos. I didnt have many friends in HS, and the ones I did were purely class based. I remember when I brought Darrel to my place for the first time, this was before the kitchen renovation lol. Anyways we did a lot together, mostly play games, hanged out and just really did guy things. I had my female friends and whatnot but Darrel was pretty much my only guy friend for a long time. As we got older we had new exps and new things come and go, but I always felt I was just a tad ahead in life, like I had already done what he was newly experiencing. So sometime we got into big fights, usly something stupid about a game or system, but for other things, like girls or life, Darrel was just a few steps behind, I got mad at him and tried to tell him, but he wouldnt listen. I had been down the roads he was going to travel and I tried to tell him the outcomes, but more often then not he would just keep going and then come to the shit i had dealt with before and it made me sad when he got hurt by it, because I had been their and done it and I still couldnt save him the pain. Darrels my best guy friend, not because he may have tons of money, or is a huge charmer, or even a dangerous dare devil, but by the sheer fact that he has enriched my own life, made me view things differently I would have never had before, and sometimes I wish I could be as free as him. I am not afraid to admit that Darrel has some things I dont, but I will not go on with life being better or lesser then Darrel, we are equals because we know each other. We got this far because the other is always their, no matter how embarrassing it may be to admit. So to this I say, thanks Darrel for being such an awesome friend this almost past decade! You keep working hard and make a good life for yourself!
